The winners of the "Schools Cooperating with Culture" competition, which was part of the "KIDS TO OLYMPUS!" programme, were honoured in Berlin on 19 September 2008. "The sun – Hotspot in all the world's cultures" was the motto of Island Perspectives in 2008. Researchers discussed the significance of the sun in ancient cultures in a religious/mythological context, during several events. [more]

Six creative minds, together with Thalia Theatre Halle, are already realising innovative, cross-genre cultural products for young people. Early, intensive language support is essential to the success of grade-schoolers – particularly for children of immigrants, but also for German kids. In recognition of this, the project "DeutschSommer – learning on holiday" was launched in Frankfurt am Main. [more]
