Academy Opera Today

Academy Opera Today closes a gap in the promotion of young Opera talents. The Academy is a networking organisation that brings future opera leaders and managers together to interact and discuss the future development of their craft during a two-year fellowship. [more]

CEE Musiktheater

The CEE Musiktheater association was founded in April 2004 by the Deutsche Bank Foundation together with the Austrian State Secretariat for the Arts and Media. The aim of this cross-border initiative is the future-oriented promotion of the existing music theatres in Central and Eastern Europe as a driving force of cultural life. [more]

Composer for Heidelberg

Cornelius Meister, Germany's youngest musical director, originated the "Composer for Heidelberg" series with the support of the Deutsche Bank Foundation in 2005. This series enables intensive collaboration between a composer and the Philharmonic Orchestra and gives the audience insights into contemporary music and the act of composing. [more]

International Conductors’ Competition Sir Georg Solti

Young conductors rarely have the opportunity to gather experience with orchestras or measure themselves against the competition. The International Conductors’ Competition Sir Georg Solti, a biennial competition held in Frankfurt am Main since 2002 offers such a forum for tomorrow’s elite. The next round will take place in 2008 with the support of the Deutsche Bank Foundation. [more]
